Safe travels Bill. This morning David and I decided to go out. I decided that there was too much snow on the van to get out the ice scraper so I just went into the garage and pulled out the push broom. It still took a few minutes because the snow was pretty heavy.

I was amazed at how much ice was built up under the snow. It was like driving down a dirt road, even on the expressway at 10am. We traveled at about 45 mph and people were flying past me, and we saw at least 4 cars on the embankment after they had spun out.

I am not sure how much snow we got, but it was too much. lol I had just gotten the front of the garage cleaned up and was going to pull the Toyota out, it hasn't seen the light of day since the beginning of December. I don't drive it much in the snow so we put it in the garage while the Malibu is in storage. But now I have to make sure that there is no snow in front of the garage again. But I hear we might be in the 40's by Friday. Welcome to Michigan !!

Nancy, we got over 6.5" last night and today. All we need now before the 1st day of Spring is 3.1" more snow and we will break the record of 96.3" in 1880/81.

The temp now is 14* and the wind chill is 1* and its supposed to get colder tonight.

Nice day in Dublin. Took my wife on her annual Dublin shopping spree on Grafton St today.
The town is really geared up for St. Patty's Day on Monday.
I'm fortunate enough to be able to drive my buddy Liam's '72 Chevelle SS in the parade again this year...leading the club's collection of American Muscle cars viewed by a crowd of thousands.
Club gives out over 2,200 green beaded necklaces and over 200 stuffed animals that I bring over from the States.
Always a BIG hit with the crowd!!!

Currently 60* here, waiting for it to warm up just a little bit more. (10* more) Then, time to thrash on the car the rest of the day.

Sunny, relatively warm for this time of the year (low 60s) but WINDY!!

Spent the day in Northern Ireland...checked out the Peace Wall that separated the Catholics & Protestants, toured the Titanic museum in Belfast and stopped in to view St. Patrick's burial site in Downpatrick.
