I got my car out of storage a few weeks back and took it directly to my brothers garage. He was to do the seats and install the exhaust. But in the past two weeks he was offered an unbelievable job. He works long hours and is making almost twice what he was before so now he can afford to do his own project Truck and stop working on other peoples cars. Fortunately for me he was able to install the new seat vinyls and a couple of other things for me but I am going to have to go to a muffler shop to have them install the mufflers which is OK.

I went and picked my car up tonight from my brothers house. It was the first time that I had seen the seats in person....they look really cool. He did a great job !! My only concern was that they sat up a lot, and I mean a lot more than before. I had the bottom springs replaced and he showed me how bad the old ones were and why the seats seemed to sag. So I finally slid in behind the wheel and put the seat belt on.....and it was still loose. It may not seem like a big deal to some people, and I am not a vain girly girl, but I was almost relieved that I fit the seat belt and had plenty of room. And the best part was that they had a lot more support and held me in the seat better.

I was so excited to have my car back that I didn't even look at the gas gauge. lol I was checking every other gauge but I think that I was about 5 miles from home and realized I was on empty and I better find a gas station quickly. Luckily I was right around the corner from one and pulled in. Don't want to have that happen again. lol
