39 and windy here this morning.
Could be worse though...snow flurries in north GA.

Had ZERO trick/treaters come to the house last night. Strange...

Stop raining long enough this afternoon and evening for the trick/treaters. Same here no one came in our area either. Look like most of the people that don't have kids left the porch lights off so it was dark in our area, plus our houses are to far apart to collect a lot of candy quickly for most treaters. I think I had 3 kids last year.

I think kids now days participate in the various after school and church "Fall Festival" events instead of doing the door-to-door thing.
At least that's the way it seems around here...
There are 25 homes in my subdivision...the street dead ends in a cul-de-sac. Well lit with street lights and a county elementary school across the street from the neighborhood's entrance.
Halloween participation has really tapered off in recent years...we've been in this house since '88.
Although, there isn't many younger children living on the street. And the HOA is sponsoring a bonfire get together tonight down by the pool rec area.
I can hopefully get rid of all this candy I had purchased...

I sat on the porch at my grand daughters house and passed out candy while she went out with my daughter trick or treating. I passed out 2 big bowls of candy. My grand daughter came home and they counted her candy.....almost 300 pieces, at least 20 of them were full size and she had close to 20 bags of chips. And to think that it was snowing, raining and 40 degrees.

Had to mow and pick up leaves in the rain today. Can't tell how much I hate doing it when the leaves are all wet. Filled up two 5x8 trailer loads today, and only half the leaves are down at this point.

When the leaves are wet is when I like to chop them up as it cuts down on all the dust .Our leaves will probably start dropping heavy this week ,not enough to chop right now. It was very cold yesterday and today with high winds .

Nancy, tomorrow supposed to be around 60. I'll use the warmer weather to clean the car and get it ready for winter.

Woke up to mid 40s, I think the high was 63 or 64. Tomorrow they are expecting a high of 76.
