My last phone was dying. It was a computer deal. Camera stopped working and it was re-booting in the middle of calls. So I had to get and learn another one yesterday.
It a whole new ball game even just switching phones. |

Good luck Ken. I just spent 2 weeks in Florida. That stinkin new phone "locked up" on me twice. My fault the first time. I was trying to set up a password. The second time, I have no idea. It kept asking for my SIM_PUK number. How in the hell am I supposed to know what the is? I called the place I bought it from, using my brothers land-line, and he couldn't tell me what to do to make it work again. I called the wife, she went to Verizon on the computer and figured it out. Phone was the most aggravating thing I've ever dealt with. I did make some pictures with it though.

Once you learn how to use it you will never go back. If I can learn how anyone can.

Well knowing Tony for over 10 years this will be a challenge as he hates technology. Ask him about putting points in place of the MSD ignition in the Nomad. Hell he even disconnect the clock in the Camaro I bought from him because it was high tech.

The stinkin clock again huh? Well, heres one for you and that stinkin clock. I get down to Florida, fire up the Ford van, and BAMM, the stinkin clock won't work. Every time I shut the key off, the stinkin digital bastard goes back to 12:00. I hate digital stuff too. Give me back my cables and knobs! And the stinkin digital clock that I bought in Florida has an alarm that goes off every stinkin day at 9.09. I can't get it to stop doing it. I'm gonna have to smash it.
I went to the Verizon place today, where I bought the phone. They kid that works there taught me more in 15 minuets than I learned on my own in over 2 weeks. I went in there last year to get a phone so I could listen to music on the plane. Same kid said my old flip phone could play music. Led me in the right direction and I got it working. Sorta. I had to have him show me how to get it to play. He liked all my old music, so I lent him the CD"S that it's on. He showed me the microphone thing on the smart phone. That thing is crazy. I can ask it how to get home and it tells me! I can ask if the tacos are any good at Heysuses place and it tells me "no, don't go there". Still gotta learn an easier way to get pictures in the Florida build post here. Right now I email them from the phone to my email, click on the new message, click on the picture, click save as, type in what the picture is, then it goes to my documents. Then I have to go to photobucket, do all the sign in shit, go back and find the pictures in my documents, send them to photobucket one at a time, open this site on a different tab, go to the thread, minimize it, go back to photo, figure out how to copy, come back to minimized tread, and click the copy thing. Man, there has to be an easier way. If any of you guys have the answer, I'd appreciate it. |
