mine usually runs about 190, can go upto 205ish.... (no fanshroud or inner fenderwells here) |

No problem there, 205 is not hot. It would probably stay cooler with a shroud and inner fenders but you don't have anything to worry about. I believe stock thermostat on these cars was 195.

I run 190 all day long with fender wells and shround on 90 degree days.

Mines a 454 block, .090 over with a 4.25 inch stroke crank. I dont have a fan shroud currently, but Im going to try to get one this weekend at the swap meet. I do use an aluminum Summit radiator, a Stewart stage 2 water pump and a flexlight steel 7 blade fan. My car in the dead heat of summer wont go over 190 tops, typically sits under 180. Friday night hot lapping it at the drags, outside temp was upper 80's and the car never went over 180 degrees all night, and thats going pass after pass after pass

Mine runs about 180,also.And that is after 4 passes,past my front porch.
