Default North Gratiot Cruise 12pm-6pm Aug. 1st

The annual North Gratiot Cruise is happening August 1st from noon to 6pm, on Gratiot between 15 and 17 or 18 mile. I think the city is Clinton Township on the edge of Mt. Clemens, Michigan.

Might see ya out there. If we do go then we probably won't go to Bakers.

So did you go to the cruise Nancy? They just had something on the news about it, looks like it was pretty good. Just too much to do yesterday to go there, it's about 100 miles round trip.

No we didn't go out at all in the Jeep yesterday. I saw it on the news too, and probably would have seen some friends, but I had to pick up 2 kids who spent the night at their friends houses. It wouldn't have been bad if the kids were in the neighborhood, but they live quite a distance away. We really wanted to go to Baker's last night, but by the time we would have gotten there it would have been too late, and it's a little bit of a drive.

Reasonable turnout at Baker's yesterday. Ray and I went, Ric showed up a little after we got there. I think all the clouds kept some people away, chance of rain. My car is 40 years old, pretty sure it's been wet before so I didn't worry about it.

Saw a turquoise mist 70 SS with a black vinyl top. Never seen a 70 that color before, it was really sharp. Always see a lot of the same cars but there's always something there you've never seen before. Oh and a European model Ford Focus with manufacturer plates on it. That drew a lot of attention, sharp looking little car.
