Default It's 90* and I'm wearing a sweatshirt.

My house is so freaking cold,I can't stand it.I'm about ready to set up a tent and sleep outside. I basically live on the patio, front porch and garage when I'm home.I even have a little office set up on the front porch.

Is your air conditioner stuck on high?
Out here in NM. we have swamp coolers and we can't get our house to cool down untill about 10pm.

It's the wife. I hate air conditioning.

My wife is the complete opposite.
She wants it to be 90• in the house all the time.
I used to live in New Jersey, so I'm having a hard time understanding how you can spend so much time outside with that humidity.
That would stop me in my tracks.

75-76 is what we have the AC temp set to. We turned it off yesterday and opened the house up. We've had it on for about a week since the temps have been high 80s or 90s and high humidity. Yesterday we got a break, the humidity dropped and temps in the low 80s. Nice to get some fresh air in the house.

Set the A/C to 79*

I also open windows each night if the temps & humidity are low enough. The A/C has only run 5 days so far this summer, and that's because it was too humid to open windows.

A/C is primarily used for humidity-control in my house.

I keep my house around 71 degrees. We turn it up in the daytime, especially if we are leaving. I like having the digital thermostat, it adjusts the temp and we don't have to worry about it.
