Default I'm looking at a parts car on Friday.

A guy here local has a '64 Chevelle sedan that he drives daily. He doesn't want a ton of money for it, so hopefully I can get it and have everything I need to finish my car before the warm weather gets here again.

......here's hoping!

Well, it only took me two weeks to get back with the guy about the more door Chevelle. It's a four door Chevelle 300. We're gonna go get it on Saturday. This car runs like an absolute dream. This will make getting my car road ready a breeze. Pretty much just take the running gear and brakes off of his and put them on mine. Voila, done.

It has 14" rallies on it and a good front clip. I'll have an 8.2" ten bolt for sale with unknown gears, and whatever sheet metal you want. I think everything else is spoken for for my car. Tail lights and 300 trim will be available also.

He put some weird bucket seats in it. After I pull those out, I'll see if they're still there. You're welcome to them if they're still there.

I'm gonna do something I've been wanting to do with the carcass. I'm going to cut the back of the car off at the bottom of the back window and make a couch out of the trunk cavity for the man cave.

Alan sounds like you found the needle in the haystack when you found that car. Congrats.

Well CRAP!

The kid just called me tonight and said he decided not to sell his car. Darn it! I guess I'll just keep going ahead with plan "A" and have my car done a little later. That kinda ticks me off a little.
