Default My baby turns 11 today.

It is so hard to believe that my youngest, Leah, turns 11 today. I remember giving birth to all 6 of my kids, but with Leah we always joke. I actually wanted to have her on April Fools Day cause I thought it would be neat. I have an older sister who was born on Halloween and every year we have a blast harrassing her about her birthday.

This pic is a couple years old. But it is Leah's favorite pic with my car. It was also her 1st trip to the Drag Strip. So Happy Birthday Leah !

Happy Birthday Leah! It's about time you start looking for your own Chevelle project so you'll have it when you turn 16!

I had a paper route. Then I lied about my age at 15 so I could work at the local fast lube shop after school and on weekends. Then flipped a couple cheap cars with the money I saved up. When I was 15, I bought two '64 Chevelle projects for $800. I had one running and driving within 3 weeks. ....good times.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes guys.

flash, the only one of my children that have ever driven my car, or at least came close was my oldest daughter Jennifer when she was 16 (12 years ago). I had come to pick her up from school and I asked if she wanted to get behind the wheel so her friends could see her in the car. She jumped in, I then asked if she wanted to put it into gear. She looked at me with this scared look on her face. I told her that she needed to stand on the brake pedal, she said stand ? I said yes, STAND on the brake pedal and slowly put the car into gear. She did and the car jumped, she quickly put it back into park. She just sat there for a minute and said "Mom your car has a lot of power". That was the last time any of my kids got behind the wheel.

Alan, Leah is an insect freak. She likes moms car, but she would rather be digging in the dirt looking for insects, or trying to catch grasshoppers, ladybugs, and fireflies.

Hank, my 3 oldest kids live out of state. Jennifer is 28 and lives in Las Vegas, my son Matthew is 25 and lives in Texas, my daughter Lacie is 24 and lives in New York with my grand daughter Melhoney who will be 6 this year. I still have the 3 left at home, Lauren 14, Jacob 13 and Leah 11. Not a dull moment at my house.

Gary...will give her a big hug..

Ray, I will pass on the birthday wishes.

I will. They are having the last few pieces of her Oreo Ice Cream cake right now. Birthday leftovers are always good.
