Default My brother's house

A few of you have met and know my brother, Eric. Eric is the kind of guy who will help anyone, he is always there when you need him. He is also one of the people who had a major part in the work done on my car.

This past few years have been a challenge for him and in the process he had to go from a house he put a lot of time into redecorating and building a custom garage. Well Eric had to move and he decided that he didn't want a mortgage and he scrapped together cash to buy a house.

In the past 6 months I, along with my mother and my family have done as much as we could to help him do a lot of work on his house. Today we went over there and spend a good 3 or 4 hours just cleaning up some of his yard to help him pass his inspection.

Here are a few before and after pics of what Eric did without paying any contractors. He did all the work before and after he put in an 8-10 hour day at his shop.

Three days after he bought the house.

Look at all the pictures. nice job on the house. Looks alot like my beach house project. I guess I need to learn to set up some photo albums on here on some of my projects.

We helped Eric as much as we could, we would pick up things he needed for his house. When it was time to paint the kitchen me and my mom just went to Home Depot and got the paint brushes, primer, paint supplies and my mom picked out the color. It is was funny when we were done with the first coat of paint we sent my brother a picture on my phone and he texted back that it looked like the color of a Wendy's frosty. He was right, it really does.

Ray, do you have your pictures already on your computer? If so, it is so simple to upload them into albums here.

1.Just click on your name "shadowgray396"
2.It should take you to your profile page.
3.On the right side of your profile page it should say "Albums".
4.Click on "Albums" (it might say set up albums or new album).
5.Give you album a title and a description (just like making a post here).
6.Choose if you want it public (anyone surfing the site can see) or private (only members can see). I make mine public so I can post links on other sites.
7.Click submit.
8.Click on "Upload pictures" ( you can upload from pictures already on your computer).
9.Click on "browse". This will take you to folders on your computer, pick the folder that has the pictures in it that you want. Then just double click on a picture you want and it will fill in for you. I think that you can upload 5 pictures at a time. But each album can hold up to about 100 pictures.
10.Click "Upload pictures".
11.The next screen will give you the opportunity to put a caption with each picture. Click done when you have finished any captions.
12.You can continue to upload pictures to this album, there is a button at the top or bottom of page that says "upload pictures". Just keep doing the last few steps till you are done.

Once you have an album, you can use the BB code (which is found underneath the pictures in the album, you must double click on the picture in the album to make the picture larger and only then will you find the BB code) to put larger pictures into you posts. You can also place links to your albums.

We are still not done. I don't have the bathroom after pictures, we were covered with mud yesterday cause his back yard was really swampy and I couldn't go into the house. The bathroom was probably the biggest transformation, I can't wait til I get the pictures and post them.

He's very lucky to have a good family.
My brother had a fridge like that, his friend called it the big white elephant. No idea why
