Default James' 1970 Concourse Estate Waggy

Hey everyone! New here, love to show you my 1970 Chevelle Concourse Estate wagon. It's a 9 passenger wagon, it has a 650 horsepower, pro-built 541 inch full roller Bowtie engine with Edelbrock heads, fully functional Cowl Induction. The entire drivetrain is built to take the power. 18" Torque Thrust wheels, 4 wheel Baer disc brakes, all the go fast goodies!

Welcome and WOW ! Is that an aluminum block ? Looks like you have a really cool toy ! I like the Torque Thrust rims, I have a pair in black. Can't wait to hear about all the fun you have with your car.

Thanks everyone. No, it's not an aluminum block. It is a special bowtie block ordered from Reher & Morrison engines. It has a billet crank and rods from Crower, JE pistons, hydraulic roller cam, ported Edelbrock RPM heads, Comp Cams stainless roller rockers and full valve train girdle and a custom built Prescott Racing carb. Extreme duty Hughes Turbo 400 trans and a custom built Dutchman rear end with a Moroso Posi pack. Never raced it, but it's pretty wild!

Great car! I love wagons also.

650hp should move it along OK too.

Thank you for the complements. I'll take some better ones this weekend. Right now it's a little dirty. I'm maxed out too, caused some small problems. I was trying to buy this car for months then gave up and bought a sweet little Z-28 with a 4 speed. Then this wagon came back around and I ended up swinging the deal. So now the Camaro belongs to "the wife".
