Default Ohhhh was it nice...

Took grumpy for his first ride in my car since putting the air conditioning and EFI in. It was a pretty hot day outside and I knew that he didn't want to go out to Baker's car show, but I dragged his butt anyway.

It was pretty hot in the car, that is until we actually figured out the air. Because my Malibu did not originally come with air the system we bought used the same faceplate and we just had to learn which lever to put where, to get the air to work. Only took a few minutes and the car was cooling down. It was blowing pretty cold and we just dialed it down enough so that it was comfortable, even for Jacob in the back seat.

Ohhhh was it nice to ride in my car and be comfortable. grumpy even said if we change the exhaust (make it quieter so he can hear the radio), change the radio (so more than one channel actually tunes in) and get rid of the tire vibration (I think I threw a weight) then he might actually like riding on a road trip in my car. hmmmm....maybe the Power Tour next year???

I did the power tour back in '98 and part of '99. It's a lot of work. Especially if you have a truck you built in three weeks from the frame rails up, or an all out drag car you put on the street. I think you'll do fine if you get all the bugs worked out a few months ahead of time.

That is my plan. I don't even know if I did the Power Tour if I would take David with me. I don't know if he could handle to ride and if I could handle his bitching. lol
