New guy here

Hello all!

Im new here. And I dont have a chevelle YET but I plan to get and restore one here starting in the next year or so. Im a guy that likes doing research before I jump into somthing. So figured What better place than a Chevelle forum. This will be my first real interaction with working with cars. started fixing my own car (jeep Grand cherokee) this past year. I know its going to be lots of hard work but worth it in the end.

Some back ground on me. I am Enlisted in the US Airforce. I currently live in Colorado Springs co. my dream is to restore a '71 SS (love round taillights) In a black/Orange or VERY VERY Dark red.

Welcome to the site. Good luck on your quest for a Chevelle. My advise don't buy a basket case for your first car to work on.

Welcome to the site. If you want some very knowledgeable information and a great place to start your search, I would listen to flash. One of the best organizations out there is called ACES (American Chevelle Enthusiasts Society). ACES is run by a man who happens to be a friend of flash's and he always has great cars, or leads on great cars. Good luck in your search and I hope you keep us along for the ride.
