new chevelle owner
Hello all, just joined your forum and it looks like a lot of great information. I just recently bought a project 65 Chevelle SS and am looking forward to restoring it and using the forum for some help. Its really a decent car from california, only rust on it is inside on the floor boards and a little rust in trunk. It came with a 327 out of a 65 'Vette, and a muncie 4 speed. I just recently picked up a freshly overhauled 454 that i may put in it. Anyway, look forwards to checking out the forum. Have a good one everyone.

Welcome Tim. Sounds like you got a gem, finding a 65 with minimal rust, lucky man ! Can't wait to see some pics !

Did you happen to buy that out of Missouri? There was a white one down here that sounds just like your description. Anyway, good luck with the build and keep us posted on the project.

hey everyone, i put a few pics on a album for any interested. Like i said its a project car but a clean one. And earthquake68 i found the car near my house here in southern iowa. Guy had had it for 10 years in his barn, and he had bought it from someone in california where it had been in a garage for about 15 years. So really lucky with the rust. Looking forward to getting started on it.
