Hi all,My name is Jim and am a long time Chevy lover.
Currently I have a 72 wagon, 2003 silverado ss,1954 Chevy and a 72 ss clone which has seen better days. I live in Ct. And am currently in talks with a chevelle owner who claims to have a 71 ls5 45_ car,it is out of state and sounds like a numbers matching car which looks like a 7 out of 10.I know my info is limited but what could I offer them? They want around 20k and what would this be worth? Ls6,, turbo 400, 12 bolt, staple shifter and mulsane blue with black vinyl top, black imterior. |

Welcome, 20K would be a reasonable offer if it is a number matching car. Here's a nice 72 in our area with 53000 miles on it

Do you have anyone who could go and look at the car for you. Before making an offer I would try to get someone to look at it. Pictures hide a lot.

My ex's aunt has a real deal 71' SS 454 car. Cranberry Red, LS5, TH400, etc. They want $20K for the car, that said - I would say around $20K... give or take is ballpark for these cars. (depending on options, documentation, and condition)
