Default new in tx
just purchased a 68 malibu, 40 years old and just now getting my first chevelle. Just wanted to say hi.

here are some pics. As far as what i am going to do with it depends on if the car is a true ss car or not. The car is a 68, it has a reasigned tx dmv vin but the cowl tag says 13837 and also has 0-0 for a special order paint code. I will be tearing apart the interior to look for a build sheet and also finding the hidden vin behind the hvac box.

The 138 on the cowl tag is for an SS car, but there have been cases where the vin and the cowl tag were different. Very nice looking car and welcome to the site.

I live in Waxahachie which is 20 min south of dallas, i work as a ft worth firefighter in north ft worth
