Default Shop news!

Well, it finally happened. I outgrew my garage at home. I've been running my shop out of my home garage but lately I just don't have enough room to get anything done. I end up working in the driveway most of the time which makes me short on parking for my own cars.

Wednesday I sign the lease for my new building. It's only 900 sq ft, but it's a start. I can finally finish off the Chevelle and the C-cab. It'll be nice to work indoors for a change. It'll be even nicer to have my home driveway back.

If you're close by, stop in for the shop-warming party!

Sounds great. I have to work on the Chevelle in the garage or in the driveway. Just enough room in the garage to get around it, makes working on it hard. 900 sg ft should give you plenty of room.

Congrats! My father's cramped garage is 720 sq feet. And extra 180 would be helpful at times.

Congrats Alan. I have a cramped space in my 1 car garage. But we do what we have to do. Glad you will have a little more room to work.

Build it and you will fill it. Or you will have help from friends you never knew you had.

I have a two car garage right now. Tiff's Impala has to stay outside while the C-cab and the Chevelle take up the garage space. I had a tent up in the driveway for a couple years and painted a few cars in the tent as well. I just have no desire to keep going like that. I need to separate the business from the home and get some elbow room in the process.

This is what I'm dealing with right now. It's a little cramped when I get two cars in there and try to do something too.

These next two are older, so I've accumulated a few pieces here and there.

This is where most of the work gets done right now. I sure will be glad to get indoors. Especially with fall and winter coming.

Soooooo, yeah. I'm ready for a bigger shop.

I think you are going to need a bigger shop. Looks like a lot of things to move. Lol
