Default Still going strong.

In 2004 I bought my AWD Astro Van. It had 68,000 miles on it. I had many people tell me that I would have problems with the AWD. Well it has been almost 10 years that I have loved this vehicle. Sure we have had repairs, and yes we have done maintenence. But I have never had a vehicle as reliable as this Van has been. This week I flipped the odometer over to 175,000 miles, and she is still going strong. Have you ever had a vehicle that was just indestructable ?

Congrats, I have found I have had good luck with vehicles that others have just had problems with. It's all in how you take care of them.

That's impressive Nancy. I've never hung on to a vehicle long enough to see that kind of miles.

I had just over 227K on my 1988 C1500 when I sold it. Everything worked but the factory radio. (I ditched it for a cd player)

Also, had over 190K on the 2000 GMC Sierra I gave my father last summer. It ran great and delivered decent fuel mileage.

Both trucks were VERY good to me and required little maintenance. That said, I am quite partial to full size GM trucks.

I played around with thought of taking the awd out of one and building a awd chevelle. That idea never went to far allot weight to add. But congrats on the 175k
