S/S Headlight Retainer Rings

Anyone know which is correct for a '71 Chevelle? During the tear down for body/paint I found out my H/L retainer rings are mis-matched. One measures 1'' tall front edge to rear edge, the other measures just a hair over 3/4'' tall front edge to rear edge. Never knew it before until now, LOL.
