Default I'm idiot

I had a guy get ahold of me from Texas and found out I had a left door for a Chevelle. I agreed to finally ship it to him when I could. Been really busy and finally after a month (afterI lost his number) he got a hold of me and wanted to know if I was willing to send the door. I said no, and after a lot of complaining on his end I decided I would honor my word and get it ready to ship. I had to build a box for it and it ended up being to heavy to ship greyhound so I made arrangements with my brother inlaw to ship it through his company. I then took some money to pay shipping from him and did not charge for the door. He only payed for the shipping, nothing to deliver it to the freight dock or for the material for the box I built (I thought he at least offer) Door has been shipped over a week ago and he just filed a complaint with paypal and they took back his money from my account. He lost the tracking number and is blaming me he doesn't have the door. Never again will I do this.

Ray, that is just a shame. Perfect example of why I hate most people anymore.

That sucks. I hate dealing with people I don't know. You never know what kind of person they are.

I understand totally. I tried to help people in the past. You either get attitude or they think you owe them something.
I had the perfect original bumpers from my car. No dents no rust just old chrome. I tried several times just to give them away. Guys were saying they were not good enough for their car they wanted my new ones.
Really? You want me to just give you my new ones?

I had other body parts I sold. I hear they are not worth anything and then they relist them for a fortune.

I have got to the point I just scrap it if I don't got room to store it. Because I hate dealing with the car guys I been running into. Used car salesmen snake oil types.

The door is in Texas. Got delayed because of the flooding. That's not my fault.

That is one reason I wont ship large heavy items such as my spare vert top frame .If someone needs it badly enough they can come get it otherwise I just keep it. Good luck Ray ,I hope it works out for you .

It's at his door step in Texas where he lives. He need to go pick it up. We resolved the issue finally and he is going to remove his complaint.

Glad it got straightened Ray. It's always a crap shoot dealing with individuals over the internet.

If I would have known you had a drivers side door I would have gladly paid for the door and shipping and whatever else. That's the door I'm having trouble finding a good one. I have 3 drivers doors and all of them need work, plus a 4th door if you want to count the one UPS was supposed to come pick up two weeks ago that came in damaged.
