Is the plastic dash bezel blue? I see the column is blue. I thought all SS cars had black bezels and columns, but obviously the Post Sedans were quite different with their 300 Deluxe interiors... learn new things every day.
![]() I'd trade any of my cars for a SS sedan in a heartbeat.

Derek, the column and the dash are blue. I replaced the original dash with a reproduction one but the original one was blue also. I'm not sure what the correct color is for the steering column to be honest. Someone could have painted mine but like you said, a 300 Deluxe is a odd duck.
I do know of a documented black SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan that is for sale but it's in the $50k range. Dan Vasic got twelve '69 Chevelles together at the MCACN Show. Here is a link if you want to check them out. The black post car one is the one for sale. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...=438171&page=3 |

It's a new year. I purchased a second rearend for the car. I plan on having one for the street (3.07) and one for the strip (4.56). I also purchased a Holley 850 DP for the strip and will be changing the shifter body.
On a side note I have been trying to get more information on my car's history. The Chicago Historical Society emailed me a ad from Sept. of 1977 with my car for sale. Kurt

Cool! $1500? I'll give you double that, just because I'm such a nice guy.
